Recovery and Reconciliation

Recovery and Reconciliation (R and R)
Focuses on the true meaning of ‘recovery’ that leads to reconciliation’. Recovery focuses is on restoring what has been lost, devalued or hidden in the lives of individuals. It aims to recover the ‘true’ self within individuals that often times become lost, hidden or devalued due our reaction or response to difficult and challenging life situations or circumstances. R and R is a biblical/spiritual based service, using and applying the biblical truths to individual’s lives for recovery and reconciliation.

How is it different to other treatment services?

Temperament Therapy underpins this service. An understanding of temperament is self-empowering for the client as well as been beneficial to tailor one to one sessions for optimum results in less time.
A temperament model of counselling is used alongside cognitive therapy and other popular treatment model. Temperament Therapy is a Biblical/spiritual method by which the “inner self”, (the soul), is analysed and measured scientifically, on a personal level, for understanding development and godly change.
An Arno Profile System (APS) report is generated on completion of the 54 screening questions. Combining both temperament and cognitive therapies recovery is taking place harmoniously within the heart and mind (the soul), to bring balance, harmony within an individual, this is process of reconciliation.

The more common psychological/counselling therapeutic approaches are generally grounded in the scientific writings of Freud and Carl Rogers and many others. There writings mainly stem from Greek philosophy.  An exception to this is mindfulness which is rooted in eastern religious philosophy. The foundations of Recovery and Reconciliation are rooted in the Judeo-Christian Biblical framework.
