Meet Dr Lynn Green

With over twelve years in academic study committed to human development and human advancement in order to bring peace, hope and positive change into the lives of individuals

Dr Lynn Deacon-Green is committed to human development and human advancement in order to bring peace, hope and positive change into the lives of individuals. She has dedicated over twelve years in academic studies exploring, studying and examining human behaviour and attitudes. This included conflicts on a inter personal level (within individuals), an intra-personal level (between two or more individuals) and on local community, national and international levels. Dr Lynn Deacon-Green was tutored by internationally recognised professionals in conflict resolution, peace-building, humanitarianism and community development. Furthermore, she has been tutored by leading specialists in addiction and recovery as well as Christian Counselling.

Dr Lynn Green has over twenty years of experience working with vulnerable young people and adults. This has been an invaluable learning process which has involved linking and examining theories of human behaviour and attitudes towards hurt and broken young people, and adults in the community.

While working as a clinical addiction and recovery therapist with imprisoned adults in Her Majesty’s Prison system for eleven years, Dr Lynn Green noticed that the theories she had studied failed to communicate practical solutions for how to heal the broken human soul and spirit. This led Dr Lynn Green on a pursuit to find answers within her own Christian faith.

The work of Recovery and Reconciliation is a result of this learning experience to heal and recover the brokenness of an individual’s soul and spirit.

Her passion is to empower people to recover their lives by helping them control their thoughts and emotions, and also to provide guidance in how to think, feel and behave in a different way to find their sense of purpose in life.

Dr. Lynn Green’s spare time she volunteers at a local church helping to serve food to homeless and less privileged people.
